Description
The Seibel Chopper (also known as Seibel Nucleus Chopper) is a specialized ophthalmic nucleus chopper used in phacoemulsification for horizontal or vertical chopping of dense cataracts. Its olive-shaped blunt tip and oval shaft behind it enable safe fragmentation of the lens nucleus while shielding the posterior capsule from rupture during divide-and-conquer techniques.
